COVID-19 has made remote work and virtual meetings the new normal. Even in online meetings, business colleagues and clients still judge you based on your appearance. That said, here are a few tips to ensure that you look your best.

Dress the Part

Dress as appropriately as you would if you were in the office. The webcam will only show up the waist. If you work in a casual work environment, a T-shirt dress paired with a scarf will give a good presentable look. You can also pair a T-shirt dress with a casual blazer (avoid denim).

Accessorize

While accessorizing with jewelry make you look dainty and polished, I recommend avoiding heavy dangly or reflective jewelry, as this may act as a distraction. Keep it simple—a watch and small stud or hoop earrings.

Remember—dress the part because beauty is screen deep!
